সূরা আল ইমরান - Surah Al-Imran (Ayah 1,2 and 3)

الم

আলিফ লা~ম মী~ম।

আলিফ লাম মীম।

('Alif-Lām-Mīm)

A. L. M.

اللّهُ لا إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ

 

আল্লাহ ছাড়া কোন উপাস্য নেই, তিনি চিরঞ্জীব, সবকিছুর ধারক।

(Allāhu Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Al-Ĥayyu Al-Qayyūmu)

Allah. There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal.

نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقاً لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَأَنزَلَ التَّوْرَاةَ وَالإِنجِيلَ

তিনি আপনার প্রতি কিতাব নাযিল করেছেন সত্যতার সাথে; যা সত্যায়ন করে পূর্ববর্তী কিতাবসমুহের।

(Nazzala `Alayka Al-Kitāba Bil-Ĥaqqi Muşaddiqāan Limā Bayna Yadayhi Wa 'Anzala At-Tawrāata Wa Al-'Injīla)

It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong).
